Kinda makes sense with American Latinos though.
You've got Latino families in places like San Antonio that go back 500 years to when Texas was controlled by Spain, then France and later Mexico. The ones that are 1st/2nd generation might send money back but don't seem as inclined to go back and build. They send $$$ to help get the rest of their family to the U.S.
Another thing is that Hispanic immigrants tend to be less educated except for Cubans. African and Asian immigrants are usually highly educated, so their focus is different. It's why Nigerian, Indian etc, kids will kill it in school while Latino immigrant kids are more hit/miss. The Africans and Asians don't come here to do blue collar work....they come to be doctors, lawyers and engineers. The Latinos that are concerned with education seem to stay in Mexico.

Crime isn't that bad nearly anywhere. It's like if North Korea said "Don't go to America!" And only provided their citizens with news stories and videos of Chicago and NYC.
America has always painted that picture that if you travel abroad stay close to the hotel or resort because they'll rob you, rape you, poison you, murder you. Because they hate Americans.
Not only is that not true, but there are pockets of Americans in nearly every country due to jobs, colleges, military.
It's the exact reason they never ever show, promote or advertise beach resorts in Africa but only show kids with pot bellies and people wearing loin cloths in 2022.

Man, I've been saying the same exact thing. They want more immigrants to become citizens and don't want the current citizens to leave when so they can keep taxing and taking 1/3 of your paycheck.
If word goes around that quality of life is better elsewhere people would bounce tf outta here.

There are a lot of facts here. Africans and asians leave their countries for the most part because they can get paid way more to ply their trades over here than back home. Given the fact I work around a bunch of immigrants(legal and illegal) I can tell you that most of the illegal immigrants come illegaly because there is no way the US would let them in legally given their backgrounds or history.
The coli aint gonna like to hear this, but the old saying 'even a broken clock is right twice a day' definitely applies to what Trump was saying about a lot of immigrants from Latin America. The people coming from these countries aren't exactly model citizens. And most hispanic immigration now comes from Venezuela(especially Venezuela), El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras now a days, hardly any of the hispanic immigrants come from Mexico anymore because conditions in Mexico ,while not perfect, have improved greatly over the past 20 years which is also why illegal immigration slowed down so much in the '10's and is picking back up now from the smaller countries.
Those people from smaller countries go to the US instead of staying in Mexico where they share a common language and somewhat culture and can get a job and have a decent life because 1. The US helps immigrants out greatly as long as they are willing to do the menial tasks in society and essentially work and be indentured servants and 2. Mexico flat out doesn't want them as you can see by the article. Most countries don't want you moving their unless you are bringing something with you, the US is one of the major notable exceptions to this. Trust me if the people immigrating to Mexico from the US were trailer park trash or a broke as fukk Mexico would put a stop to this yesterday, the people moving there are coming with money which is why they don't care. Long as you don't come with your hand out empty, but with some cash in it you can move there all day.
America ain't doing shyt about cartels anytime soon when they can't fix their own cartel (police), or stop Russia/China fro swinging their nuts. Y'all really think America like that when it hasn't been it quite some time
