Around 6.30 they do a fantastic summary of the creation of suburbs and the process of gentrification and how and why it hurts people living in the places that get gentrified.

You know what, I can see their argument, but a lot of the blame should go to those who raise the prices on everybody as well. Same problem everywhere in the world: a lot of smoke for the people who move in, but not much for people who charge more money who are being opportunistic.

It's also funny to see the whole "Oh yeah, I got Spanish in my blood or family from Mexico!" play.

99% of the Americans there immigrated legally and are middle to high income earners with college degrees or old retirees living off a pension and 401k. Complete opposite of what Mexico sends to us.
