"The N.F.L. said, 'We don't know what Charlie Ward is going to do.' They tried to paint him as being indecisive," said Eugene Parker, Ward's agent. "All Charlie did was ask the N.F.L. to tell him whether he was going to be taken in the first round. When they wouldn't do that, he just said he was going to keep his options open. He was always so calm as a player. Crazy thing is, he was much more dominant a football player than he was a basketball player....but that same calm floor general shyt we saw in football worked for him in basketball. When he and Warrick played together :wow:

I disagree, often star players are great at other sports. Patrick Mahomes almost fits this bill. What i agree won't happen is for a player like that getting denied the opportunity to prove himself at the nfl level
