how is asking a question in an interview, to a point some body made disrespectful???

L:my sister was raped
C:who raped your sister?
you:

he supposed to be an interviewer tho, maybe he coulda asked a better question to lead that into more productive discussion, no?

but sometimes he goes the more sensationalist route, most likely trying to get a rise out of the guests. thats also what he's there for so :yeshrug:

sometimes the guests dont take the bait

That didn't sit right with me either.

If my sister was raped, i'm taking that to the grave unless she decides to make it public knowledge.

Its just strange to me breh

What about when Bizzy Bone got with Americas Most Wanted and told them his story about being sexually abused as a kid and made a song bigging up John Walsh and telling kids if they know a bad secret to not be scared and tell? Using himself as an example of speaking up by letting the world know he can relate.

So a man raps about something, talks about something and someone asks him about it and it's disrespectful

How sway, how :dahell:

Anything you put on your albums that are mass produced by major corporations is obviously something you can ask someone about. He wasn't on some investigative journalist shyt.

The way something is conveyed, determines a lot. Charlemagne didn't ask the question with any sincerity, showing no genuine care. Rape is very touchy. Eg.

Logic : Sister been raped.

CTG: wow so sorry to hear that man, did you and your family find out or know the culprit ?

This would've been a more considerate and appropriate way to get the same information instead of "who raped your sister" chuckling immediately after. Very distasteful on Charlemagne's part.

I mean rappers rap about other people's stories all the time...and it's usually some nikka creating :duck: about moving the coke they saw some other nikka move.

It ain't about losing "fans"...in fact it ain't about "fans" at all..it's about being a human being. He has a song about suicide on his new album that has the suicide hot line in the title. He ain't dead...he said he never even seriously thought about suicide before...is he exploiting people who are suicidal? Or does he realize that he has thousands of people who listen to him who might be deterred from hurting themselves if he he speaks for them through song?

You got all these people wondering why "hipsters" have Logic pushing 2k while all these nikkas with the so called "buzz" can't do that. It's because he has endeared himself to his fans by touching on things like suicide, rape, racial identity and other things that he either deals with or have affected his life.

These nikkas would have you believe that he's some kind of "plant" because he's selling more records than the somebody like Young Thug or one of the other idiots that the record labels put out in front to push whatever product...it seems "logical" that since they are more visible or more heard in the "streets" that none of these nikkas be in that the only way he could possibly be more popular is some kinda cac whatever.

Cole is the same way...while I acknowledge his skill, I truly believe that people love HIM more than they love the music. They support him as a person because he is honest and makes effort to connect beyond just finding a "lane" to sell records in. Rappers, hell artists period should take note.
Just now seeing this.

You need to ease off of Logic's dikk sir.

And it's no different than rappers rapping about other people's stories "all the time". It's all exploitation to a degree. J. Cole's latest documentary he put out is another example of it. I just call it how I see it
