Having positive vibes for the season. I have to be honest. This is feeling like 2004 and 2017 brewing. I think we rip off a huge winning streak this season like those years (2004 - 7 straight wins and 6 straight wins. 2017- 9 straight wins) When Doug Pederson won his 2nd Season many thought that was wild. Ironically, The Birds are taking a trip down Super Bowl LII Memory Lane this season. The Eagles play Carson Wentz twice. Doug Pederson and the Jags. Frank Reich and the Colts (Nick Foles is the backup behind Matt Ryan who they played during the Championship run). We also play Minnesota this year too same as the Super Bowl run. As for the state of the NFC BEAST Division. These are the facts. The Birds have the most current Ring in the Division with Super Bowl LII. 4 years have gone by but that ring is still shining bright. The Eagles have also made the playoffs in 4 of the last 5 years. Hoping to make it 5 of the last 6 with this year.
The Cowboys haven't made the NFC Title game since 96. That's over 25 straight seasons. Dak has only 1 Playoff win and three losses during his 6 seasons. Washington hasn't been there since 91, over 31 years. Matter of fact, Every NFC Team has been to Multiple NFC Title Games in that span except The Boys, Washington and The Lions. Carson is a upgrade for Washington but he's never won in the Playoffs in 6 seasons. Yes the G-Men won two Bowls this Century. But Eli Manning isn't walking through that door. They've had 5 straight losing seasons in a row and only won 22 games in 5 years. No Playoffs. Yes they have a new Coach but Daniel Jones will have to show he can win more than a few games.
So the Division is up for grabs. There also hasn't been a repeat NFC BEAST Winner since Andy and Donovan Mcnabb's Eagles won 4 in a row 2001-2004. Meanwhile yes Jalen is still young but he was the youngest QB Ever to start an Eagles Playoff Game. He's now coming back to the same system with upgraded weapons and he's more comfortable. Everyone nitpicked his season last year but his combined numbers was strong. He's going to give you that heat on the ground and air. Loving the weapons on Offense from WR, TE and Running Back. I feel like the O-Line is the best in the league. Hopefully the Defense steps up big too. They were Top 10 last year. Anyways. They won 9 games last year when many said we would flop. I see the Media trying to jump on the Bandwagon this season because they were so wrong about them last season. I see the Birds moving up to the 11-12-13 win range hopefully this season.
