The Eagles may really go into next season with 3 black Coordinators since the new OC is Presumably Brian Johnson and Nick Confirmed today that Michael Clay is coming back for Special teams. Dennard Wilson is the leading in-house candidate for DC but they're also interested in Vance Joseph.

Nick confirmed he won't be calling plays next year either, so Brian Johnson will have the keys to himself. They must really believe he got next.
Johnson's a former QB, successfully called plays in college, successful QB coach with Jalen, and he's known the Hurts family for almost 20 years since he played High School ball with Jalen's dad as assistant coach and Jalen as ballboy. Too much chemistry to not succeed and he's inheriting the offense with no major losses assuming Kelce runs it back.

DC is the tricky one. Dennard Wilson might be a homerun who has a feel for it immediately, or he might be a worse version of Gannon where the inexperience leads to him being passive and slow to adjust. Not sure they're gonna want to take that kind of risk with the window the offense has to win right now.

Good point on the experience. With the NFC the way it is right now jalen can at minimum get us to the NFCCG for the next couple years, he has no competition at the QB spot. We need a DC that has seen some things so we can seal the deal when it counts.

No excuses he wasn’t on any injury report :yeshrug:
He had no problem throwing teammates under the bus for blown coverages at the end of the season.

And a messed up knee don’t got anything communicating pass offs on motions. He had quite the fall off.

Which is why im
Scared to look at our CB room , we’re so thin there it’s scary , God forbid Slay went down during the season , it would’ve been a wrap for us .
