Chappelle has a long and lucrative relationship with Netflix. I don’t want to read too much into this but if the streaming numbers for Chappelle Show are good then this MIGHT entice Netflix to throw him another bag and maybe do a few Chappelle Show specials
I honestly think I'd prefer more standups instead. :ehh: Chappelle's Show 20 years later would seem forced while his stand up game is timeless and better than ever.

Neal says they've talked about the idea before and they are both basically 100% against it for any amount of money. It's too much work to make it good or great.

:dame: in advance for this story, but Neal has said a couple of times that while they were making the show, Dave pulled him to the side and said he was having trouble in the bedroom with his wife, and Neal said "Oh, I been had that happening."

That's how stressed they were making the show.

Neal played this fakkit ass dude in this new movie "Opening Act" which was pretty good btw.
The part when he was staring at lil homie had me in tears!

Damn at the circumstances surrounding the show. Not only is he not getting syndication dollars since they still air it almost 15 years later, he's not getting any streaming revenue either. He referenced it on SNL but as he's gotten older he's gotten a lot better at blending harsh realities with jokes.

I was streaming it on Max but if he doesn't want folks watching then I won't watch. Funny how HBO dismissed him and the show and now wants to claim both.
