Bro... Al fukking Horford makes $28 million annually. Tobias Harris $33 million a year till 2024. Fred Vanvleet is rumored to be getting MAX offers from desperate teams like the knicks. Jrue Holiday in his prime will be getting a $20+ million a year deal for multiple years when he hits free agency, WAY, way more than a measly $27 million player option. It's not even a debate or opinion... it is 100% guaranteed to fukking happen. You're the silly one if you think that's weird or uncalled for :yeshrug::hhh:

And nearly all of those teams regret those contracts

Philly especially gave out two terrible ones

We will aee what Fred gets.

And if a team.is willing to pay Jrue that money or more for multiple years they would have to be championship level or on the cusp

So OKC expects to get picks AND nothing but $44 million worth of expiring short term money for old ass CP3's albatross contract??? :mjlol:If you're promoting some no-name G-Leaguer to be tank commander for the foreseeable future why do you even care about that cap space to begin; nobody going to you in free agency anytime soon. Why would you not want a young promising wing like Oubre as a rebuilding small market team that has literally none of those on it's roster; you don't wanna pay him cause you're expecting Giannis to come save you in FA next year??? :russ: Presti really thinks he's entitled to the same type of haul for 36 year old CP3 that he got for prime Paul George fresh off an extension :unimpressed:

They believe in their young guys and think that they are only a few pieces away from being a real contender.

Wouldn't read much into that from the Suns side as much as other teams getting involved if the Clippers & Mavs stuff has legs since Rubio & Oubre have to be involved from the Suns side to make it work, they just do nothing for the Thunder starting a rebuild :manny:

CP3, Finney-Smith to the Suns

Beverley, Oubre to the Mavs

Rubio to the Clippers

Shamet, a future pick with protections from either the Suns or Mavs, & filler money (Wright, Powell, & Jackson from the Mavs works) to the Thunder. They would want something to take on the 3 years of Powell (coming off an achilles) & 2 from Wright since they don't really do anything for the Thunder either.
