The Celts made it to the ECF with Daniel Theis as their starting 5 & without Hayward. Tristan is an upgrade, Tatum & Brown are a yr older. Celts should be 3rd in the East.
Tristan Thompson hasn't even attempted to play winning basketball in years... Bam and the rest of Miami's young guys get a year older too. Hayward never made a difference for Boston to begin with either.

Addition by subtraction for the sixers. Al Horford didn't really fit with that team. They went and got some shooters. They are now built similar to the squad they had when they was in the Eastern conference finals and went to game 7 against the raptors.how did the sixers and celtics get better?
Counting on Danny Green and Seth Curry ain't exactly changing their situation or biggest problems. The book has been out on the Sixers for years now.

I just don't think Miami is a top 5 team in the league. Top 8 maybe, but Boston has Tatum & Steven's. They've been to 3 ECF, and they have a culture of winning playoff series. I like them over MIA next season, all things being equal.

Theyll come up short. Miami got the wings to defend them but Bos has no answer for Bam. This is why not trading for Turner made 0 sense

They've had better floor spacing in the past - and in the playoffs or close games teams are still able to blatantly cheat off of whoever is actively handling the ball because that weakness hasn't gone anywhere.
