That's not how it work. Bron depletes future assets and when he leaves the cupboard is bare. There's no guarantee AD will be here in 3-4 yrs and we see he reached a zenith with a playmaker. No one wants to admit but we would've been better off waiting for him to hit FA, bc we'd still have all of our draft capital, young talent & could have signed/traded for the necessary pieces to compete for the next decade.

I'm still gonna be around in 5 yrs when Bron stans are not invested in Laker success. And it's a formality we will go through another dark ages. I'm being realistic.
yep the lakers should've kept their (9th-30th) 2021, and 2024 picks instead of winning the championship.

E'twaun is a good pickup for the Suns. Their offense is going to be ridiculous this season; a crazy amount of offensive talent.
Some people just know what the hell they are doing. James Jones is just that person. I remember when he first came. A lot of shyt he caught. Giving away players like Tyson Chandler then in the offseason. Drafted Cameron Johnson and traded T.J. Warren with picks. But man, traded for Baynes, signed Rubio. He just started changing the culture of PHX. Got rid of Josh Jackson.

Now look at him, the team is in his image. He just knows what he's doing. I don't think he gets enough credit. He gets it. I see why Bron loved having him around.

That Pels depth chart is disastrous. They somehow have an even less functional setup than last season.
Pels high-key tanking. Wouldn't be surprised if they trade J.J.

This offseason, I seen five teams commit to the tank:
DET, CHA, OKC, NO, NY

I am on the fence with CLE, SAC, and MIN.

I don’t think they had a bottom 3 off-season. if you’re going to tank, wouldn’t this upcoming draft be the perfect time to tank?
That's why I said, they had a tremendous FUTURE offseason but if we are talking 2020-21, they completely regressed massively.

Philly
and NO can defer a first if it's not high enough to their liking

Klutch Sports has us by the balls and they can abandon ship just as quickly as they hijacked the org

four first rounders & 2 pick swaps

everyone thinks they're gonna be on top forever until they're not
the Pelicans got:
no 4 pick in 2019
2021 first-round pick (top-8 protected)
right to swap first-round picks in 2023
2024 unprotected first-round pick, with the option to defer unprotected pick to 2025

lakers got AD (in his prime) and a championship in his first year. compared to what the Bucks gave up for Holiday, not bad.
