Who?Gambit was best portrayed when Jim Lee drew him and Chris Claremont was writing. That's how he should be in his movies.
Tatum is meh. Not really a big fan. He's looks like a meathead, which Gambit isn't really about.
Should have gotten Benedict Cumberbatch to play him. He looked the part on Star Trek INto the Darkness.
When he took out the Cleons on his own is reminiscent of how Gambit fights.

He actually didn't do a terrible job but he's got the stink of that first Wolverine movie on him still. He'd probably be much cheaper to hire at this point though. He couldn't hold that cajun accent for shyt though, he sounded British by the end of the movie

A Gambit movie doesn't have to be massively big budget, especially based on the Theives Guild or a heist flick, I'm biased obviously but I think this has a great chance of getting made, shyt one of the main reasons the Deadpool movie has been in development hell is cause he's deformed and always wears a mask, a gambit flick circumvent those problems. You can always throw Rogue in there and get the bytches wet on some twilight love story shyt if all else fails

I don't have a concrete reason, but this seems like OD to me. They have DOFP, which I've heard is pretty good, and then Apocalypse supposedly in 2016. I would assume that they would put him in Apocalypse in order to expose him to the general summer blockbuster moviegoer. They also have the Wolverine 3 supposedly in 2017. I know Channing Tatum is a box office draw, but is it enough to justify making a movie about him?
