Tex is nothing but a glorified Mark Reynolds now a days.

Thats what he always was as a Yankee.

If he was the player that he was for the Braves & Angels, I'd have no problems with this bum.

I hate these HR/Strikeout/Walk players and the wporst part about it is Mike Trout isn't a Yankee because of this bum

Didn't the Mets do the Same thing with Harvey?

Wait it out a bit and than see?

He can get TJ In November or today makes no difference in regards to 2015 if he needs Surgery
the earlier he gets it, the faster he can heal and therefore not have it affect him as much the following year when he's actually pitching again

If Banuelos cracks the rotation next year, every Yankee starter would have some sort of injury ailment

CC - knee
Pineda - shoulder
Nova - TJ
Tanaka - TJ
Banuelos - TJ

even Betances had elbow surgery

I was talking to a mets fan about this very same thing in the office yesterday. We both wondered why did the yanks wait?
Simple.

Tanaka's good for business. Yankees foolishly figure if he's out next year anyway, let's try to salvage 6 more weeks of Tanaka's starts now since he's such a draw. If they can avoid surgery altogether, you just saved yourself from a Tanaka-less season. If it was strictly about his health, he woulda went under, but Tanaka puts butts in seats, so they'll do anything to avoid losing that draw for a year.
