So @tremonthustler1 where are these prospects who were 3 year away you kept saying year we lost to the tigers ? I mean not one prospect of any value can get a sniff at the roster ??? We had a million catching /outfield prospects and then signed a catcher and a OF

The funny thing is that the guys Cashman has drafted have actually gotten praise recently (Judge, Clarkin). And let's not even get into the starters. It's Hiroki Kuroda and the SWB Rail Splitters on this Yankee team

They were 18-19 years old.
They're 21-22 years old now in AA. Other than Mason Williams who's had a crappy year (Slade Heathcott got hurt), they're developing. As much as I'd love to see Rob Refsnyder right now at 2B, if you're BANKING on the kids in the minor leagues to rescue you, that's an indictment on the guys getting paid big time money to perform.
Meh always excuses I'm not saying depending on them to save the day but when you can't even produce players capable of being stop gaps and your running out career minor leaguers . At some point you have to give these players a chance or keep it moving . We have most of our outfield locked up for the next few years so roll the dice on one of our players cause we can't keep them all

I don't disagree. BUT, they have to be ML ready to be that. When the players have shown that, they've gotten opportunities, but they gotta be ready. Bringing up green AA players just to bring them up doesn't help anyone.
