Tchalla didn't die or abdicate. They just assumed he did so they made Killmonger king. Technically their fight was not over. So tradition was not broken.
:camby: fukk outta here. He would’ve died had it not been for interference. He didn’t recover and come back on his own. M’baktu rescued and preserved him, with the Lupita character bringing him back with the magic herbs. The fight was over, he lost.

And Killmongers plan would've cause more harm than good. Spreading highly advanced wakandan weapons all over the world have backfired literally if they came into enemy hands. There is a reason why they keep their technology a secret.
This is the kind of bytchmade c00n mentality that just disgusts me. It’s a superhero movie set in a fantasy land dude. The only way that the weapons would’ve gotten in the wrong hands is if that’s how you imagined it in your mind. It’s a made up story bruh. It’s like I said, some blacks(if you’re black) can’t even fantasize about successfully rebelling in a make believe world. “he would’ve tried to give out the weapons and the white folks just would’ve took them then we wouldn’t even have wakanda, that’s why we gotta hide”

Come the fukk on man.

I don't so much disagree with killmonger as with his methodology for liberating black people. :manny:

Clearly not thought through.
Nah you’re just so mentally enslaved and broken spirited that you can’t even fantasize about freedom out of fear.

Killmonger's strategy of giving everyone access to those weapons wasn't well thought out, tech can dissipate if it is in the hands of everyone and whatever advantage they could have over outsiders would be narrowed. It reminded me of Ghadaffi throughout the 80s and 90s with his involvement in everything from the IRA to PLO and Uganda. He financed so many groups outside Libya using his nation's resources that he ended up even financing coups in Chad were his army got pushed back in the desert. He only changed tack after being sanctioned hard by the US and decided to dismantle whatever weapons program he had.

Why not make a part two, with tchalla and killmonger vs the world?

They took the safe way out..

Killed the hero, then go to politics, begging for shyt we've been begging for, for decades now..

In a perfect world it would be a more militant tchalla leading and a less nuttty killonger as his best soldier.

But let’s not forget this is just a movie lol.

Shout out to Chadwick for seeing

Howard University bred

Glad that we have him--a brother that understands--to have played the character

Would be easy to see him as a hero 100%

For people who don’t understand killmonger’s flaws put it this way

If you had a father who protected you from the neighborhood thugs but didn’t care if you were clothed, educated, fed and emotional well, would that be a good father or leader?

“It takes a village” . You have to have someone willing to serve the people once the fighting is done.

You cant thrive with just offense. You can fight cacs all day but if you’re neglecting or destroying healthy and positive growth then what are you doing?

I'm coming to understand Killmonger as a manifestation of the evil done to his people.

Eye for an eye.

He wanted to go so hard because the colonizers went that hard. If you think he's going to far, now you understand how black folk look at their oppressors.

The more I think about it, the more I think Okoye and the Dora Milaje DID commit treason and rebelled against the King. TChalla never officially yeilded, HOWEVER Killmonger didn’t grant request for a rematch, but technically the fight was still on because: TChalla didn’t die, and TChalla never officially yield. You can say that Forest yeilded for him, but that’s not still an official yeild.

But Killmonger was still declared King. Killmonger never granted a request for a rematch. Okoye rebelled because she thought she that he wasn’t the right fit for king, saying “your heart is evil” or something like that. It’s not in her right to decide whose king or not. Eric won fair and square. There was a technicality but he was still declared king.

What’s the point of killing them?
Leaving TChallas family alive was a bad move because they were the only ones who threatened his rule. He should’ve sent assassins to have them hunted down.

He had no choice in killing his girl. He’s not DeadShot. Will Smith could’ve killed Klaw right then and their.
