I get that. I watch every "hard knocks' I know they clip dudes on camera. IM just saying in this situation it's not based on football, They can do what they want...Im just saying that it woulda showed some class as a organization.
Hard Knocks might have entered into a contract with the team **requiring** cameras to be allowed at certain locations during specified hours and at various major scheduled/anticipated events.
That'd maximize the odds of dramatic moments being captured on film and the MOST INTRIGUING moments being aired. (I'm sure much drama is edited out and never aired.)
Ex: cheerleaders practices
Ex: pre-season drills and media show cases
Ex: planned/scheduled try-outs and hiring and firing
Ex: admin hearings with NFL
Ex: dorm footage before curfew and lights out
Whether coaches/players welcome the cameras or not, the contracts are enforceable.
So it's not likely that Philbin or Johnson could bar Hard Knocks cameras from taping this difficult convo. Skip Bayless is just saying "Joe shouldn't have allowed it to be taped" in order to play devil's advocate on Chad's behalf.
