I get that. I watch every "hard knocks' I know they clip dudes on camera. IM just saying in this situation it's not based on football, They can do what they want...Im just saying that it woulda showed some class as a organization.

i mean they tried to make it as private as possible.

it was strictly coach & chad in the room.

contractually, HBO had the liberty to place an overhead surveillance cam in the room & they're allowed to show it.

i'm sure coach didn't want that to be shown on TV either because it was obviously a lil' awkward for him too.

so i think that particular part was out of the Dolphins' control. it ain't like they should've gone outta their way to go to Chad's house to do it...and the cameras could've possibly been allowed to do that too.

they went to pick him up, dropped him off at the facility & had a closed-door personal meeting with the head coach.

people are acting like jeff ireland & joe philbin were in the editing room with HBO to make this episode. it's a show & HBO did their best to edit it this way because they know how big this is.

and it's documented that jeff ireland & joe philbin didn't even want Hard Knocks...and it's evident by their personalities.

in the Jets one, they woke a dude up at like 3:30am to cut him & showed it on camera.

they showed a dude getting cut on this season's show before even putting on pads.

This clearly is not football related no matter how much he tried to spin it in that direction. Those other guys being released was based on the field.

Something like this to me, comes off as very condescending and taking advantage of a real life situation.

He's a big boy, he can take it. Plus he, of all athletes, knows that "reality tv" lifestyle. Getting cut is not some sacred line that the TV cameras had to be wary of crossing (like, say, sticking a camera in Reid's face as he learns of his son's death if it were in Philly this year)
