He has been in great matches absolutely. Imagine building even 4 weeks of main event promos and angles around Cesaro, though. shyt would be an absolute disaster I'm not even sure he'd be a main event type guy anywhere with TV, but he could be that guy in Japan for sure.

That promo last week that I saw people calling "fire"... really drives the point home. They want this guy to win so bad that they done deluded themselves into believing that promo was dope and proves that he belongs in the main event. I was dyin' for it to be over. Felt like the longer it went, he sunk more and more. Ever seen that Jack Swagger promo when he went out there talkin' bout "you don't know Jack" and died in front of that live crowd? That's how that Cesaro promo woulda gone in front of a full arena.

Man... we can sit here and try to wax poetic about his weak promo game all we want... the crowds always appreciated Cesaro in the ring, nobody denies that. But the only promo he ever gave that elicited an on or offline response was THAT one (you know the one) and the overall response to it was negative and/or apathetic.
