I think the best time to push Cesaro would have been in 2014. The reaction he got when he won the Andre battle royal was something you couldn't fake, and you have to run with things like that when they happen.

But the window closed quickly and now, I don't think he cares if he ever gets a title run.

Re-sign means you continue working somewhere on a new contract.
Resign means you have left an organization.

They’ve been around going on 3 years with only 3 world champs. And it seems like it was invented just to allow Cody to say he’s world champ no matter what they do. We all know they gone eventually find a way to change that stipulation that he can’t ever challenge for the title. That world title scene is just one big build up for Cody’s eventual run.

Their word title reigns especially with Mox be way too stretched out.

TNT title is a joke. They should have just came up with an International championship and had 2 world champs instead of a mid card title.

I don't see what you see with the Cody stuff but they definitely suffer from not having a prestigious secondary title. The TNT title is a television championship, thus automatically diminishing its status as for PPV defenses. It's a perfect title to build new talent but it leaves a wide open space of wrestlers who are already above that belt but can't share the main event title scene together.

i dont blame him for re-signing with the WWE tho, as going to AEW is a lateral move for him at best. aside from maybe a hyped up title shot on dynamite within the first 2 months, hes going to be in the same position hes in now.
