Yea, and the consumer goods were one thing. Food shortages would have lead to riots rather than protests. I noticed a few weeks ago a bunch of the food I enjoy comes from places like New Zealand (Rainbow trout), Mexico, Canada, etc. Produce and protein alike. Same for grains and legumes since I don't consume prepackaged foods much.

Add in labor shortages in agriculture and construction...we are due for a wipeout. The tariffs situation would make covid supply chain issues look like childs play and that shyt was terrible. This is entirely preventable.
