Cena was Rejected for MCU, Deadpool 2, Shazam Roles

Cena is definitely a one trick pony. He can only play that serious guy who’s funny.

Batista isn’t an elite actor, but he has more dimension than Cena.

He didn't really get noticed until "Blockers" came out, which was after Deadpool 2 and Shazam were both filmed; same thing happened with Batista with GOTG, which funny enough Triple H thought would be a flop. Haven't seen the show yet, but definitely on my list to check out. Between that and that Vin Diesel stimulus package he shouldn't have trouble with getting roles going forward.

OT, but I had no clue that Cena appeared in "Ready to Rumble"

I could have seen cable , might have preferred it actually. Brolin wasn't all that in the role . But Shazam? No way. His face is too hard to be a happy go lucky superhero

Idk man I don’t like him for Juggernaut in particular, but they should absolutely find a role for him soon.

They could pay Hemsworth 10x what they're paying him now and still pull in record profits. Only thing that stops Thor is scandal or if he gets tired of doing it.

Cena put in his time. Even with monster pushes, he was still on the road more than anyone during his era. Never let himself get out of shape. Sadly(and this is Vince fault) , Vince had the whole company on Cenas back for years

He deserves to get out.

That’s what happens when you throw all your eggs in one basket. They solely got behind Cena and used him to stymie a bunch of people for maybe a 9 year period. They’re still suffering for that right now, and Cena hasn’t even been a focal point for a long time now
