To be honest one day after going back and forth with people on this site, I read some scripture with my wife. Made me lose interest in the negativity. Haven't done the back and forth thing since.

I felt compelled to jump in here because of the "everyone gets bullied" post by @Captain_Crunch.

My post was taken out of context which happens. I apologized because people's feeling were hurt by using the example of white people. I'm not interested in hurting feelings especially considering that mine are in tact.

Rawtid, care to explain? From the experiences I've seen, this is NOT true at all. Black people get the same shake in corporate America. shyt, we all stick together. There isn't many of us in general to differentiate at all

I’ve experienced differently in corporate or general professional settings. Africans are typically in higher paid positions or in hospitals, if the doctor is black they are often African. Whereas African Americans are in “lower” positions. They gain professional respect more quickly than AA’s. I’ve even faced that way of thinking with African hair braiders. I just feel my experience reinforces what happened in the OP’s vid...Africans have expectations to be professionals and AA’s not so much. Doesn’t mean I think this is an occurrence everywhere.

I also live in Baltimore, so AA’s are often given a side eye due to the violence. We are lumped in one category.
