those comments have to be ironic. how many times can someone say black americans have no culture, then use black american mannerisms. and it seems a lot off them get off on their ancestors selling slaves like thats some shyt to be proud of
:mjgrin:thats that cognitive dissonance. they got a whole continent to themselves but still be all on social media using ADOS slang, lingo and memes.:smugfavre: and how you gon brag about selling slaves, when the country you sold them to used those slaves as the catalyst to becoming THE superpower of the world and even then the slaves rose higher than you.:smugfavre::jawalrus: meanwhile, you talkin cash shyt on social media, but your country aint got a liquor factory, musket factory, nutmeg factory or dashiki factory the first to show for such a one sided trade :sas2:

We fought the good fight, nobody joined. Now we're bleeding out and they're looting the bodies and dividing the spoils. :francis:

shameful*

Uh huh right...

I guess the many 1st and 2nd gen pan africanists that fought for aa civil rights like kwame ture, Wachuku, dudely thompson, hasting banda, Ghanian president kwama etc didnt exists.

Ture literally marched along side King at the march against fear rally and was a prominent black civil rights activists. They were close friends and political liaisons.

But nah apparently that didnt happen "nobody joined" right?

Man you clowns are so full of sht and uninformed its hilarious.

It is always funny to see people writing that African Americans have no culture, while using and riding off of African American culture. That is when you realize that the other folks have no culture.

The part of about selling slaves isn't even true anyway. What very few people seem to understand until they actually look up historical records is that only about 500,000 people were even brought to British North America (USA) as slaves and the vast majority of those folks were brought between 1720-1780.
Historical Context: Facts about the Slave Trade and Slavery | Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History

The vast majority of those folks were were from the Rice Coast, Upper Volta and Congo/Angola/Cameroon, which points to most African American ancestors being Mande (Mende, Mandingo, etc.), Bantu (Bakongo/Angolan/Bamileke/Bamoun), Fulani, Temne and other Voltaic and Atlantic speakers that were captured as prisoners of war captured during the multitude of territorial wars to establish trade with the Europeans on the coasts. While some slaves were brought to the USA from the modern day the day country of Nigeria (Igbos selling Igbos), by and large American planters didn't want Igbo slaves and they didn't take all that many people from Nigeria, which is why the USA ended up with so many Mande slaves who brought stuff like the Blues, Rice, Islam, Breh Rabbit, etc.

In any event the USA had all but banned bringing slaves directly from Africa by the 1790s and it was officially banned in 1807. Most Nigerians did not enter the slave trade until after the Jihads of Fulani Muslim Cleric Usman Dan Fodio starting in 1804. As a result of those Jihads most Nigerian slaves were taken to the Caribbean and South America, rather than to the USA. So regular Nigerians were not selling many slaves unless they were Fulani-Hausa people that were leading the Jihads sacking those Yoruba cities or Igbos selling other Igbos. The Yoruba and Igbo people of Southern Nigeria were the prey, which is why Nigeria became the second largest exporter of slaves behind Congo during slavery. Less than 80 years later when the White man colonized Africa everybody was made slaves. They call it being colonized, but they were slaves.

I hate this shyt becauae they try to ignore all their people who are not successful. ADOS we are all here the good the bad and the ugly. When it comes to black immigrants it's only a sample size of them here. If they came to the US for a better life that means they can afford it and was already on a different path than their peers. Its hella ratchet people in their countries but they don't talk about them. Ask them how many of their ppl in their home country are successful?

My pleasure bro. I'ma drop one more track off. It is a song that my Igbo parents would listen to considering the instrumental and content. Might be too far out for you.

But you also may like it if you are into horns and drums and praise music.

Uplifting vibe

music like this & the old type gospel make you feel like you can get through anything! Appreciate it

Off topic, but I was listening to Tariq Nasheed's recent podcast, and I think he is going down a dangerous path. He was basically blaming black foreigners for the negative things in the ADOS community! Some of the shyt he said was way off!

One thing he said that was way off was that twerking came from the islands from Miami to Atlanta. Whatever, but he said west indians were easy to connect o New Orleans because of the French, but that was in the 1700's. After that aint no Haitians were going to N.O. like that. Twerking, and shaking ass like that is a recent thing because America was so prudish before the 70's & 80's, but after the sexual revolution, and especially cocaine use, sexuality became more expressed. I used to be down south in the late 80's as a little kid grinding on chicks, or was doing the sandwhich with two chicks, at parties and there were NO west indians around. Plus, I grew up with people from the WHOLE Caribbean, and Haitians weren't doing all that sexy dancing. You can tell he just lumps all west indians together, but even Jamaica wasn't really on the sexual vibe before the 80's. Trinidadians had the openness about their bodies, especially during carnival, and I think it stretched out over time.

He even said all the weed smoking came from west indians:dwillhuh: Man, i grew up in Brooklyn, and both ADOS & West indians stayed lit. My uncle used to roll in front of me when he would watch me. I smelled it all over Brooklyn in the 80's before they started clamping down. I loved the smell as a child because of it. Tariq is lost on recent history. he may know what was in Books, or in LA/down south but not up north history. I just don't like how he just made the shyt up like it was facts:ohhh:

I can't rock too tough with Tariq after this one, you can't just make up shyt to blame others for our faults. That makes us no different then white supremacist! He still has some good about him, but he lost a lot of points with this one!

No doubt, but I think what she meant is there aren't ENOUGH people like those you mentioned. There will always be riders who ride for ALL OF US, but there needs to be way more then there is now. Back then I kind of understand, the world wasn't as connected, but now we should be having way more people on code when they come here. If they are living in the states there is NO excuse as to why all of us are not on code. Candace Owens, and this show, shouldn't even be seen in mainstrem media because we stop it before it happens. Its because we are not on the same accord which is crazy as hell since we all live here, and know the way shyt is HERE!

Don’t watch much tv so tonight was my first time finding out about this show when a commercial for it came on. Came to the Coli to see if there was already a thread. Glad most ppl in here can see how disgusting and pathetic and agenda-driven this bullsh*t is.
