not gonna happen/shouldn't happen for a few reasons

1. got no faith in them doing DS9 justice. shyt look what they did to picard
2. avery brooks won't do it. over the years it seems he's had an almost alec guinness-like disdain for trek. the creators have hinted several times that he's been the holdup and they won't do it without him
3. everybody too old. once the odo actor died the door shut on any kind of revival imo. wouldn't feel right without him

Yeah, they getting up there and Brooks would absolutely want involvement with the script and he is too pro-Black to allow the writers to diversify/agendize the cast like they did with Picard..

They'd make Jake a swirler or have a half-Ferengi child or something...or just make him gay just because...look what they did with 7 of 9..


Kira looks really old, but O'Brien, Martok, Jake, Quark, Bashir, Garak, Rom, Worf, and Ezri held up enough to do a 6 part mini-series.

I think the reason she looks so old is because she was far older than the Kira character. I don't mind them making the attempt although I'm sure I would be disappointed with it.

man in the documentary from a few years ago one of the main writers said they should’ve made bashir and garak a gay couple. that told me enough, they don’t need to ever bring it back lol
