The Neighborhood and God Friended me got full season orders quickly, while Happy Together is still waiting for one. The Neighborhood is funnier than I thought it would be, and I want it to succeed because of the people involved.

That's good to hear cause both of em are fire. The Neighborhood is hilarious as hell. I fukkin love it.

Happy Together is definitely weak in comparison. But I'mma huge fan of Damon Wayans Jr. so I'm hoping it succeeds. He's honestly carrying that show by himself.

I've never watched anything other than the NFL on CBS before. Their dramas and sitcoms have always been wack to me. Too white and corny.

Now they got fire shows like God Friended Me, The Neighborhood, and Happy Together. All of em got black leads.

Cedric the Entertainer still funny as fukk in The Neighborhood. Damon Wayan Jr. is basically carrying Happy Together by himself (which is probably the weakest of the 3). And my favorite is God Friended Me. Really good show with a very talented young brotha as the lead. Brandon Michael Hall got Denzel potential IMO.

Yall nikkas need to start watching these shows. They're dope and we need to support these brothas.

They also have a show called- "The Good Fight" . This is a legal drama show about a black law firm, it's on CBS All Access.

CBS also got a black female lead on their Star Trek reboot. The sista from Walking Dead.

Now I know white people rarely do stuff like this out of the goodness of their heart. There must be some reason they're doing this now. I just wonder what it could be?

CBS also got a new sitcom with a black male co-lead called "Fam" that's gonna premiere mid-season:

The problem with Damon Jr is that he overdoes the eccentric behavior his family is known for, Damon Sr was the best at balancing it out which is why he's the funniest Wayans.

i've been keeping up with the neighborhood and happy together. I like happy together way more because the neighborhood does way too much culture humor for me and lays on the "look how corny this cac is" a little too much for me. Plus the white lead dude is obviously a fruit cake. Damon wayans always been my dude and he's killin every episode. The plot doesnt make any sense but i dont really care.

i swear this gotta be the only half cac/married to a cac mixed broad that is always cast with a black man. They usually always cast her type with a white dude but thats not the case with her. Even in that alien show that got cancelled they made it seem like she was gonna end up with the cac but they did a swerve where she actually slept with craig robinson and wasnt even interested in the cac .... Its rather strange and kind of refreshing
