CBS got shows with black people now...

I've never watched anything other than the NFL on CBS before. Their dramas and sitcoms have always been wack to me. Too white and corny.

Now they got fire shows like God Friended Me, The Neighborhood, and Happy Together. All of em got black leads.

Cedric the Entertainer still funny as fukk in The Neighborhood. Damon Wayan Jr. is basically carrying Happy Together by himself (which is probably the weakest of the 3). And my favorite is God Friended Me. Really good show with a very talented young brotha as the lead. Brandon Michael Hall got Denzel potential IMO.

Yall nikkas need to start watching these shows. They're dope and we need to support these brothas.

haahaaaa... I watch that show. He's the Chair of his own medical department too. But if you watched the last episode, he's second guessing his decision. They're at the charity gala and the white female doctor that likes the black doctor (that he initially rejected), introduces him to her female friend who is a black woman, so they can get to know each other. The whole time, he keeps staring at the white doctor, exchanging glances, but he's supposed to be in conversation with the black woman. Looks like there's going to be a turn of events...

CBS also got a black female lead on their Star Trek reboot. The sista from Walking Dead.

Now I know white people rarely do stuff like this out of the goodness of their heart. There must be some reason they're doing this now. I just wonder what it could be?

The Neighborhood and God Friended me got full season orders quickly, while Happy Together is still waiting for one. The Neighborhood is funnier than I thought it would be, and I want it to succeed because of the people involved.

Yes! I love this show!! This is one of my favorites. Both seasons were very well done. The first season, I like how they played off the Bernie Maddox ponzie scheme -corporate fraud angle with Mia and this last season was Trump, lmao..(they stayed roasting him,) while having different case themes each episode. Good casting too with Lucca, Adrian and bringing back Diane in the crossover role from The Good Wife. I noticed how they softened Lucca up compared to the first season. She went from very aggressive and straightforward to having an emotional side. Also it's interesting that it's based in Chicago, they're the go-to firm dealing with those police brutality.
cases. I wish they could have gone a different direction with Lucca's pregnancy storyline but that's my only complaint..good series.

When I saw him reject the white girl...I was like, finally!! Yes... A show without a black man or black woman hugged up on a white person bc they value their own race ...saw this last episode ..Smh I'm done.

my girl and I watch Happy Together...we can tell it might not last long but it is a likable show and its pretty funny when Damon Jr isnt going off and acting gay. it is a fun show and we like to keep track of all the different ways they try to disguise his wife's pregnancy (she's pregnant in real life but her character isnt).

to amalgamate people..... they need new "blood"..... with their population in decline, it would be smart to get all those other groups under their wing to bolster the numbers..... all empires have done this.... since media is a wide ranging platform, it gets people comfortable with the idea of mixing....... everyone is american 1st, and ethnicity 2nd... instead of the other way around...
