In this nation we limit speech with threats (i.e. loss of employment, loss of livelihood). Loss of livelihood and serving time are not all too different from one another.
Clearly you've never spent time in prison.

Do me a favor and point out "the religious concerns" in these comments. What he said was outright discrimination, and that shouldn't be tolerated.

Where is this not the case?
I'm waiting for the day when a public figure will speak their mind without worrying about the "gay police" coming after them.
this. employers will fire your ass in a hurryif u wanna say this shyt and not have to bend over afterwards you gotta be set for life and not give a fukk about ever working again.
You can speak your mind whenever you want. Culliver's not getting disciplined for what he said. He's getting criticized to death for what he said, and that's to be expected when you say some shyt like that. You just don't give a shyt because it's about a particular group you don't care for.
Wrong. I don't give a shyt because this "controversy" should've ended when Culliver apologized (even though he didn't write it himself). But, no, the boy didn't do enough to appease those he offended. As if attending sensitivity training is going to change his way of thinkng?![]()
I'm disgusted right now. This just goes to show that free speech means nothing in this country. To the T/S, he had to cower to the gays. They probably would've tried to blackball him if he didn't.
