The thing about judging someone like Biggie is that if you weren't old enough at the time like before he came on the scene and after you really can't judge.....you have to had been listening to hip hop prior to Biggie to grasp his impact and what he did to the game..

Like I can listen to the beatles and appreciate them and love their music but i wasn't around during beatlemania to really grasp the impact ....same with people like Biggie....you had to have been watching yo mtv raps, the basement, video music box etc and been copping tapes to feel the energy..wearing the styles , talking about rap in the lunchrooms etc...when he came on the scene the whole culture shifted.....

So if you were just a baby at the time or not even born i respect your opinion if you don't hold biggie or other impactful artist at the time to a high regard but at the same time you're opinion has a *

The most quoted and bitten rapper EVER, the GOAT...nikka didnt need practice albums or songs like other artists to find themselves to get to the GOAT level, Biggie came in the game equivalent to a phenomenon like lebron from high school 1st year in the league dominating everything. A once in a lifetime talent his career was basically Barry bonds during the steroid years even his enemies knew he was GOAT, lyrics and music that will never be duplicated but still often imitated. nikka changed the game and since his death The industry been stuck on repeat still trying to be Him..RIP Big you are missed by many, still hated by few
