Rewatching this dvd again I'm at the Undertaker part and it reminded me how WWF used to have cool ass ppv names... Cold Day In Hell needs to make a comback, in fact use that name instead of that "Fastlane" name
I remember asking for this when I saw JR and King promote it during an episode of Raw is War around Christmas 99
Unwrapping this and a Dreamcast that Christmas
I'm suprised they never revisited this Internet supported toy concept when The Rock was the top guy in 2000 or even now that most of the world is connected to the Internet versus in 99. The soundbites for The Rock were endless
The main thing that helped was that those videos they had the wrestlers stay in character, the wrestlers today would be breaking kayfabe and acting all normal.... The New Day probably would be an exception, if they had a dvd best believe they would be acting a damn fool from beginning to end.Don't remember if I posted in here already, but I'll just say this was an incredible video in an era of incredible videos. I remember Austin, Rock, Undertaker, and I think Mankind all having really good vids. That DX one was good as well. I don't think the WWE will ever be able to produce those type of vids and evoke the same energy if they tried that today, despite the production team being the only thing that stays A1 within that company.
