So this is what qualifies as a battle...just kinda rhyming insults and screaming at the top of your lungs...nah thus ain't it ...they was both trash
It’s the reason I can’t take battle rap seriously anymore, too much of just insults and yelling. No one has a particular style...

Battle rap has evolved into theater. If you think you can just get up there and rap cool and win then you have another thing coming. If you’re not in tuned with the culture you won’t stand a chance. What Cass was doing in the early 2000s was fire for that time but it’s not advanced enough.

Take this battle for instance

Watch how K-Shine used Geechi round ending slogan against him and jumped straight on his head. Look at the energy, hand movements, and performance of each bar. This is not just two dudes trading bars anymore. Plus battle rap has so many inside bars that people don’t even get unless you follow battle rap. A regular viewer would hear that coffee mug line and wonder why it got a reaction. Not knowing Geechi home girl is named coffee brown and standing in the crowd.

Arsenal act the way that he acts because he knows that you can't hit the person that you're battling against.

He pretty much says and does anything to cross the line.

A lot of casual rap battle fans in this thread though. They're literally talking like this is cass first battle in years. He has had some recent W's, he just caught Ls in his two most recent battles
