Nah i agree with you some of them cats go crazy with the bars its the animosity,demonic lyrics and energy I'm talking about. That energy has zero to do with hip hop and its not Fun to watch for me. Like they go in about how they can kill the opponent literally in real life and say the bottom of the barrel most disrespectful shyt possible.

rarely do you hear stuff about how "im nicer with the rhymes than you" and other staples in hip hop battles anymore. its disrespect and death ..fighting words that result in fist fights on stage to where they make compilations of rap battle fights now.

I'm still pretty fresh to the battle rap scene but you're right that most cats in the game seem to rap in this manner.

There are exceptions though...guys like Hollow Da Don and Lux have really clever bars that aren't just about killing dudes.
