Casino or Goodfellas?

it ain't close even though casino is still a good movie

Goodfellas and it's not even close. Goodfellas is a top 5 of all time movie, but Casino is somewhat underrated.

I know both of these by heart, so its hard to choose.

But I gotta go with Casino. Feeling the soundtrack more, I forget the name of the cinematographer but his work on it was amazing! Acting on both sides were solid, but the trio of Pesci, DeNiro and Stone were all top notch!

It's not close at all I like Casino but Goodfellas is a masterpiece my favorite movie of all time I watch this movie everytime it comes on tv. Casino is great but it's no comparison whatsoever.

I gotta admit though...that entire Billy Bats scene is one of the greatest in history of cinema. I laugh a good 10 minutes alone off Deniro stomping dude out

edit: thats actually tough to call. Tommy was crazy as fukk too. but Nicky pullin Ace's broad in Casino was funny as fukk

Tommy was more of a loose cannon (killing Spider) imo, but Nicky was bout it as far as going to war with the bosses! He couldn't of course, but the fact he would is pretty gangster. But if we compare the two similar bar scenes from both films, Nicky is easily more G than Tommy.

But as far as getting capped, again, I'd say Tommy was more likely to just kill in an instant over some ball busting!

They're having really good success with their shows lately. I also think they've learned from their mistakes with the Walking Dead and their success with Breaking Bad


But of course, HBO would be amazing

Never thought about it but you're right. Don't get me wrong I still like Casino but none of the characters were likeable. When Tommy Died in Goodfellas you felt bad. At the end when Henry turned states you felt bad for everyone, you were sad to see it end up that way.
