1st episode was definitely getting everything setup, highlight for me was the Thai setting.

The hotel worker who was guiding the meditation before the shooting broke out

Arnold's son looks like he might bring fukkery at least. Family seems way too close though, sure give your brother life advice but don't discuss porn categories and your sisters sex life

The Tim storyline is based on The 1MDB Scandal, which was a Malyasia backed soverign wealth fund, backed by Goldman Sachs. The guy's name is Jho Low. He's still a fugitive. Stole a billion from the hedge fund, maybe more.

The dude is Tim Leisnner, a high roller at GS in international bonds who was married to Kimora Lee Simmons, they were indicted in 2018, Roger Ng was the other guy. Leissner became a cooperating witness for the federal prosecutors.

When they had that phone call, I saw it right away. The rest of the episode was excellent. Brother is gay. Going a little obvious with that. Goggins is doing a little too much glaring and mumbling. He should be funnier. The acting and setting and directing is all top notch. Pretty obvious satire, but the writing where the three women are talking was sharp and subtle, women do this all the time with each other
