I am panning a cruise for the family and trying to decide which one is better. We have been on Carnival before but the allure of Royal Caribbeans massive ships has me unsure. Give me y'all take.

When I went it was a family cruise and my boomer cousin was a travel agent. I didn't even think about the ship because of how lit carnival was. Boy was I sad and it was a 7 day cruise
To make it worse every port we went to the same jumping carnival ship would either be there already or get there after us. I had severe FOMO when we pulled up at night and they had MNF on a humongous screen you could see miles away
Just google the ships, look at youtube videos and pick from there. RC has the best ships, they are very nice

So it sounds like, while spirit/frontier energy isn't good for an airport/airplane, its actually good on a huge boat
If you want a party type atmosphere go with Carnival, just make sure you research your ship options because they aren’t all the same.
Royal Caribbean if you want to rest and relax, just know you might get bored if you aren’t bringing a party crowd with you.
