I've been on two RC cruises - food and customer service sucked on both. Had a much better time on Carnival. Not sure about the clientele piece either bc there were drunken college kids on both of my RC cruises. Also, I generally look down on mufuccas so it didn't seem as bad to me on Carnival lol

Carnival>>>>>>>>
but you have to be careful and look at the newer ships and the longer sailings (at least 7-9 days), those are more family oriented but focus on fun.
the the older ships & the 3-4 day cruises are booze/party cruises and a lot of Aaron the plumber type brehs/brehettes on there.

Even though Royal has nicer ships, most of the people are just....off
It has a lot of Bougie a$$ nikkas on there mayne.
This ho actually asked us at dinner one night what we did for living and what we make annually???? :dwillhuh:

i try to have fun on all the cruises we go on, though
Never really been on a bad one , its just for you to decide what you want in it

there are a lot of youtube videos out there
give a few a spin
lots of black youtubers cruising too that i follow
some below

Going on virgin voyages in August. How was the crowd compared to carnival?
Leaving in a few days so can report back but I don’t know if I have been in Carnival before. Last time I was on a cruise I was 12.

Definitely an “older” crowd, I’m 47, wife is 40. I’d say mid 30s up but skewing more late 30’s and up. Plenty of black people on the cruise, so no issues there. The no kids part is A1, no question.

Overall all pretty chill. We were mainly trying to relax, have nice dinners and see the cities we ported in. I’m sure there was some partying we missed but that’s not our vibe.
I would suggest upgrading to Rockstar Status. I wouldn’t do the cruise without it knowing what I know now.

Happy to answers other questions people have.

We are in Cozumel for Easter and its lit as fukk. The bars are open all day and the drinks pouring...
we walk out to our rooftop early each morning and watch the cruise ships dock. its great to see how all that happens in real time.

The breh population on the island increases exponentially when Carnival and Norwegian docks

and Its wild how influential brehs are around the planet

I have seen so many locals in Slides and socks , I am walking around like :dead: .
they normally just walk around in flip-flops, bare footed all day, but now..... :russ:

Next cruise is in December - looking forward to it.

If you want to have drunk as shyt fun with music blasting, good vibes than go to carnival especially hit up the tequila bar that’s where all the fukkery happens  :mjlol: The rum bar is a ghost town…. Royal is for families and or you and your girl/wife it’s more slow paced but still fun:ehh:royal is cleaner as well

My parents go on 12 cruises a year, retired

It has never appealed to me whatsoever but I’m thinking maybe do a Disney cruise for my son? Eh
this dude at my job took his family on a Disney cruise and had a great time.
