:comeon:

Wu has four universally recognized, consensus classics (Liquid Swords, Only Built, 36 Chambers, Supreme Clientele) that pretty much nobody will argue against. Ironman is right there knocking on that door. Then you got Return to the 36 and Forever, where a lot of people will argue for them because of their impact. I’ve seen people on The Coli argue for The W (my personal favorite Wu affiliated project actually) and Tical, but neither of these were recognized as amazing projects in real time.

The W is better than Forever:manny:

Another one :wow:

The W aged like fine wine.

I’ve loved it since it dropped but it’s only got better over time. I have Forever above it in Wu group albums but only because of my nostalgia associated with it. Purely music wise it’s close IMO

Ghost got way better by the time SC hit...iron man is kinda spotty beatwise and flow wise
Ironman beats was immaculate. The fukk you talking about? That was the last album from the Wu that was just straight raw, before the wu sound got polished (I’m talking core members).

Ghostface became flyer on SC and was more confident on the mic and his creativity hadn’t reached its peak yet but honestly I love how unpolished and raw he was on OB4CL and Ironman, and he was still killing shyt even then. Ghost was just spitting this crazy off kilter shyt and his voice and his slang was just so fukking dope.

Plus Rae and Cappa was on point.

I love The W but for what it is, but it ain’t better than Forever. Cmon son. Not saying The W is bad, because I honestly think it gets overlooked, but it ain’t on Forever’s level.

Plus it doesn’t have that cohesive feel that the first 2 albums had. It feels more like Rza trying to hold Wu together, rather than Wu actually being together.
