Ricky Rubio at this point in his career is a lot of players on that list you just mentioned even with his broken jumper and even you know that

Just say you don’t know basketball breh..Rubio is actually a decent backup PG..

Melo isn’t an effective player at his age, and he obviously rubbed people the wrong way and that’s why he out the league.

A lot of posters are just going by name recognition and obviously haven’t paid attention to some players play these past few years as to why they aren’t in the league.

My Pops Forever RIP

D12 SHOULD BE GETTING MINUTES IN BK AND
MELO SHOULD BE GETTING MINUTES IN LA...

HELL HE CAN GET MINUTES AT
PF IN CHI TOO

Brooklyn absolutely needs more size, but having someone like Ben Simmons already on the team kinda negates having Dwight on the team. They can't even really use Claxton and Simmons on the floor together. How could Dwight fit with either of the two?

and you already know they ain't using Dwight at the 4 in Chicago. They basically chose Drummond over him.

This is where even Rubio has an advantage over Melo.

He was ready to leave the league altogether a year ago. He goes to Cleveland thinking he's gonna end his deal there, and he proceeds to help Cleveland get off to a good start early on, He gets hurt, gets traded for Caris LeVert and because the team loved having him around so much, they brought him back. Added bonus that Mitchell got dealt there and Mitchell fukks with Rubio heavy. He's comfortable with his role and if nothing else, Rubio is one of those players where he'd always have a place to go back to if he wanted to play out his career. Melo (and Dwight for that matter) kinda don't.

Remember when AI was in this situation and eventually managed to get rescued by the Sixers for one last go round? Denver's not looking for Melo, not even on some "homecoming" shyt. NY either. Orlando wouldn't even give Dwight Howard the decency to wave their towels and mentor all the bigs they have. They were on the same team last year and Dwight finished his THIRD stint in LA (and has been on 7 teams already). I can't kill them for wanting to move on from either, but they don't have the relationships to continue to get those opportunities at their age.

Also, teams having two way deals don't help vets like them either.

1. how many minutes?

2. find the team other than the Lakers who will give him the role he had a year ago. I'm not saying he shouldn't have a role somewhere, but you have to find a team incentivized to do this in comparison to what their options are now and nobody has yet thought to give his agent a call.

Best case scenario: He can opt out before the season's over and see if a team opened up a roster spot via trade.
Chicago.

The team can't shoot and their PFs off the bench are both undersized.

I'm surprised there aren't a bunch of NBA nikkas crying about how he should be back in the league.:heh:
Speaking of crying isn't it about time for Isaiah Thomas to go on his annual woe is me tour?:lolbron:

these nikkas gave up on me :to:
