he was on a team with arguably his biggest contact last year.
Perhaps he isn't as flexible as to where he wants to go, or if he goes to any team, as soon as shyt falls apart, they'll stop playing him.
and Dwight's outta the league cuz he doesn't have many friends in the league. DeAndre Jordan made the type of friends that'll get rid of all-stars for him.

Yes and no. Nobody as accomplished as Melo has gone that route for almost 30 years.

It would be good for him to experience another part of the world. Obviously Carmelo is a millionaire but Black Americans as a whole should travel way more.
You can’t tell me that their are 450 players currently in the NBA that are better players than Melo or are better contributors to their teams than Melo.

some of those 450 players play little to no minutes at all. Melo might be going to Taiwan for the same reason Dwight is: they wanna play. He'd make more money here waving towels as a damn near 20 year vet than what he'd make over there, but he'd get PT as if he were 25 over there.
Melo should be on a NBA roster getting minutes, point blank period.

1. how many minutes?
2. find the team other than the Lakers who will give him the role he had a year ago. I'm not saying he shouldn't have a role somewhere, but you have to find a team incentivized to do this in comparison to what their options are now and nobody has yet thought to give his agent a call.
Best case scenario: He can opt out before the season's over and see if a team opened up a roster spot via trade.
