Its silly that out of all the artists of any race Beyonce is always the person to hate and people still actin like race has nothing to do with it.

Put it like this. Beyonce can do what Adele does, Adele can't do what Beyonce does.

To me they are. I haven't listened to Beyoncè (I don't like her persona much) since my sophomore year in hs, but she can sing.

"...he don't care about Beyonce' storyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
growin' up in Spanish Houstonnnnnnnnnnnnnn
he say her singin' is like a model or movie starrrrrrrrrr. OH!
NO NICCAS NO NICCAAAAAAAAAAAA-A-HA-HAAAA-HUH-HAAAAAAS
That's why she lost in West L.A.-heeeeeeeeeee
to the sound of the gui-tarrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
...so says Carlos Santana. (*lead guitar riffs*)
I hate y'all. :wow:

She's not a better singer.
However,CHASING PAVEMENTS and HELLO are better than any Beyonce Ballads.
Which might cloud peoples perception of who can do what.

Myself. fukk 12(1)!
nah breh.
Watch Aretha sing the national anthem on last year for christmas day game, that is effortless vocals and she is what 70+, then go watch her when she was younger singing in the 60s, listen to 70s era Patti Labelle,, then go listen to early Jennifer Hudson, go listen to prime Lauryn Hill, Beyonce as a vocalist isn't in the same class. Whitney Houston, the queen of effortless vocal ability. hell even early mariah carey.

Not shytting on her but she is not and will never be one of those strong vocalist, she is very good though total package wise though similar to Diana Ross

That said I can't give Santana any cover, because he was down right dismissive of her like she was Vanity or some shyt like that.
But he wasn't comparing her to those singers... he was comparing her to Adele, who is a poor man's version of a soul singer. She gets burn partially because she's a white woman singing "soulful, heartbreak" music that's palatable to white folks.

Not to many people have Beyonce's range breh....keeping it a buck

What range? All her songs sound the same. Range would be a prime Mariah, Whitney, Prince, MJ, Stevie, En Vogue, SWV, shoot Maxwell. I swear people hear adlibs and think it's the end all be all. Music has gotten ridiculous with all these stans. People can't even be honest about artists anymore smh.

I'm def not a Beyonce stan... but I feel like Adele can sing only 1 type of song... and maybe opera I dunno.
Beyonce has much more variety in what she is capable of doing.

Adele in her element is better no question, but any other type of song... and adele can't compete
Hell nah... I have a friend that is an opera singer; Adele ain't got the pipes for that.

QFT. Beyoncé can sing but she is extremely overrated. And I don't even like Adele either she's boring and basic.

Always
Amy Winehouse shyts on both of them. Santana is a legend and I ain't going to diss him because he's made other public statements in his life.

"First of all, the music that people call Latin or Hispanic is really African. So Black people need to get the credit for that. Number two, Latin people are very passionate, and the music that we love is definitely Afro-rooted -- whether it's Bob Marley or Afro-Cuban -- because it deals with rhythms." (In response to the use of the term "Latin Explosion" in TV Guide, 19-25 February 2000 issue, Vol. 48, No. 8, 40-42.)

I somewhat agree with him. The way he worded it is suspect, but if Beyonce were dark-skinned and had features like India Arie she wouldn't be where she is today. I don't know how anyone could deny that. Adull is fat. And that is a big no-no in the entertainment industry. The fact that she has still achieved success, in spite of that, says something about her talent. Overall though, they're both pretty boring to me. And both pale in comparison to Whitney in terms of singing ability. Bey has amazing breath control, but thats about it.
