I didn't like Larry June before I heard this project, his style would get old to me for a whole tape but he meshes well with these nikkas, the hooks he did are butter.

Surprisingly HBK was the star of the show on this, Pay was B level and mailed it in on some tracks but HBK was spitting like he had something to prove on every joint.

Cardo production is immaculate as always :ohhh:

This dude is a top 3 producer and he's rarely mentioned

Back when they were dropping music as a group, Kid was always the standout. People thought he was the one that was really going to go far.

Its crazy how high Cardo elevates these nikkas. If Cardo wasn't producing for these guys they wouldn't be nearly as successful as they have been.

Less dramatic version of the Freddie Gibbs Madlib effect :wow:

Not to say either was bad before but it just adds a new level they don’t really get from other producers imo

Some of Larry June's best music comes from K Fisha though

You're absolutely right. But that's just the music aspect of it.

Keeping it a buck, Sledgren put Larry June on the map first. K Fisha didn't really become a household name until after Sledgren put in work. Cardo was really what put him over the top though because his momentum didn't really start until Mr. Midnight.

Out of the three, Larry needed Cardo the least. Doughboyz Cashout had a lil run but no one outside of detroit really knew Payroll or HBK as solo artists until Big Bossin.
