i mean, these are those "accolades" that could only happen in the streaming age. not like people could track how many times people played a record in 74, tape in 84, CD in 94, or illegally downloaded mp3 in 04 so album cuts could be certified
anyway....not a fan of cardi as a rapper or as a "personality", but wtf is up with no f/u album? has she spoken on where she is musically or is she done with music and just gonna make occasional features and live off of celebrity?

For her to get "exposed" she would have to have been ashamed. Cardi didn't give 2 shyts and admitted she had a writer and said she did not care. She tried to switch up after her Grammy win got backlash but she already said what she said.
As far as Pardi is concerned he continues to write for Cardi to this day. He's all in the credits of her latest hits and features. He was in the credits for the Glorilla feature.

Hate to say it but Cardi B will have a bigger impact than Nicki when it’s all said and done. This bytch went Diamond off of rap records, no techno pop shyt. Came up with a cultural term that we all use to this day (even tho I feel like she got that from Kodak but whatever), won a Grammy for best rap album, and she ain’t got to sing on records to sell. Plus she don’t slick hate on other female rappers on some old cornball shyt.
Nicki was more calculated in the industry. She obviously had a natural talent and charisma, but the likes of Fendi, Deb and Gucci, Wayne, Drake, etc all gave her the co-signs to ride.... it was more like an industry push.
Cardi connected with the people more organically IMO
