Exactly and you said the music industry treats Bruno totally different because of his race/ethnicity and that’s fact. But Rihanna and Beyonce are Black and the industry rolls out the red carpet for them.

:wow: You just totally missed the point of why Bruno is being pushed. Ok let me break this down. Beyoncé and Rihanna aren’t Phillipino immigrants doing soul/funk music. Bruno Mars makes the same music that whites enjoy while in similar vein as Raphael Saadiq but the later isn’t all on pop radio, award shows, etc. That’s why people say he’s a vulture, makes faux soul, etc

Idk if I'm feeling this. Oddly enough the verses to me were the best part. The hook seems to be missing something.

It will probably do well cause of Bruno and Cardi

Actually, I didn't miss any point. I was responding to your hypocrisy. You said "If he was Brandon Montell from Jackson, Miss he would never gotten the push." So I named 4 Black people who the industry pushes to point out the flaw in that argument. You weren't talking about people saying he was a vulture in your original argument, you're bringing that up now. You originally said he was probably a nice guy and that the industry treats him different because of his ethicnity.

Raphael Saadiq is 50+, what singers in that age bracket are popping with the under 35 crowd?

Also, there was a white group who were doing soul/funk music that was very good and its the type that whites can enjoy as well yet the industry gave them no push. Your argument is way off.

No it’s not. You keep mentioning bu...bu...but this black artist is pushed like it’s remotely relevant to my OP. Beyoncé and Rihanna do not do country or grass folk. So I don’t know why you keep mentioning them
