Paying more than 400 a month for a car
I have been thinking of selling my 2010 accord and copping like a used TL 2008 type S or something for basically no payments. Right now my accord is worth about 9k, I was seriously considering doing this.I paid $8500 for a 2008 Lexus IS 250 zero car note
And it does the same thing that $1500 a month charger does. Sure it has more horsepower, but I spend less in gas. Sure the hellcat is faster, but there’s a speed limit and traffic so we both drive pretty much the same speed most of the time.
Well hopefully their notes are 10% of their gross. If not then yes they are paying a lotWhy is that bad? All those cars cost over $80k. Expensive cars have higher car notes.

The same sales lady was like damn how you got a low payment for your car ($600). I told her ma’am all thought my payment is affordable for my income that is not by any means a low paymentI was at the dealer today seeing how much equity my scatpack has and the sales lady said she is paying $800 a month with 6% interest for a compass.
This Lexus has 126k on it. I’m trying to put another 100k on it before I get something else. The 2 cars I had before this were leased. I’m just not into cars like that anymore. All of them are overpriced. I thought about getting a Tesla, but they’re poorly made and the charging infrastructure just isn’t there yet.I have been thinking of selling my 2010 accord and copping like a used TL 2008 type S or something for basically no payments. I'm a sucker for the older 4 Runners, they still like great today.
and I would drive this for a while
As a car driver myself I don’t know why car people like to compare transportation to cars.So it's slower, older, and gets you less clout but does the same thing? By that logic so does a bus pass.
If your happy paying less for a ride, say that, but let's not pretend your 15 year-old entry-level luxury car is the same as a Cat or Demon.
That's how I feel but I want something a little better looking, I come through in the 2010 accord, I'd take a TL same year the IS is a little too small for me.This Lexus has 126k on it. Yeah my dad was gone trade in his Charger, he got one year left. I told him he better stop and think. That's an extra $600 in his pockets.
I used to sling whips and have no problem with folks getting higher notes if that's what they want.
As far as I know you only live once so do what you want with your money.
Just hate it when motherfukkers get sticker shock when they see them numbers after a test drive like they can't do third grade arithmetic.
An early 2000’s TL looks new. I got this Lexus because it looks newer. Whenever I do get another car it will probably be a newer GS for under 10kThat's how I feel but I want something a little better looking, I come through in the 2010 accord, I'd take a TL same year the IS is a little too small for me.
Been looking at a used SUV too.
