It's one of the biggest shows on cable (in terms of viewers) and she just got cast in Wu Assassins on Netflix not too long ago. My main point being that I don't think it would have been acting ability that would have prevented her from being cast

Marvel has done a great job with their casting overall, so I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and I'm sure they saw something in Brie.

I do agree her voice sounds younger than she normally does, but it could just be the voiceover.

The suit looks good in action and I'm all for introducing new characters and the space setting.

And that's seven years older than who they cast. They wanted someone who could do this for awhile and not look old. Blunt is starting to look old already. She looks older than 35 if we keep it trill.

Cool, just saying this is Captain Marvel you know the name of the brand they we're going to get someone with more credentials. I did look at homegirl's imdb she looks great for her age but still it's a big leap from being part of an ensembe TV show to headlining a blockbuster.
