Slight pet peeve, but why can she see the skrulls. One of the coolest things about the skrulls is there ability to completely blend in.
I feel like there were like a couple people that could actually pick out skrulls. Like 2 people iirc....

They picked her in order to fall in line with the "feminist" agenda.
Another "super sexy" pretty woman hero wouldn't really hit that mark. Just look at wonder woman great movie, strong woman.....but just a bit to pretty/hot for those angst feminist that still don't feel "included"

For a "teaser" the musical build up kind of fell flat as it didn't build up to any memorable shots. Her snuffing Betty White might could be the highlight. As a comic book reader I obviously like the Binary form being included, but I doubt most casual fans got hyped about that. If it wasn't for the assumed IW tie-in and just overall MCU momentum, I'd say nikkas should be happy if this surpasses Ant-Man & The Wasp in sales. I think people are setting themselves up for disappointment trying to tie this to Wonder Woman though. There's something to be said for being the first to do something, especially when you're already vastly more iconic. Women will go see Captain Marvel no doubt, but it's not going to be the feminist tentpole that Wonder Woman was. Just like if a Blue Marvel movie dropped next year, it wouldn't have black people coming out in droves like Black Panther did. shyt, a proper standalone Storm movie (with a T'Challa romance angle) might be the only thing that could come close to the cultural and monetary impact of BP. It's hard to get that same energy from folks, for the same reason, twice.

Small few? Have you seen Twitter? This trailer is getting roasted by a ton of people. The fact that you have people using the teaser excuse only highlights how bad it was. The teasers for BP & IW shattered YouTube & Twitter & IG.When niccas outchea make dedicated threads to create a “safe place” for them and their small few to voice their hate.
