Depends. More Scarlet Witch (big presence on teams) than Cap Marvel/WW (own franchise).

Disney/Marvel almost always assigned black/brown best friends for their white characters, even if that meant race-bending. But now that 1) there's a demand for more black, brown, and female characters in prominent /non-bullshyt roles, and 2) black and brown women are glaringly the least represented demographic... Monica is in a good spot. Her and Kamala Khan.

With the fox deal, i've gone on record in saying they're going to make Storm the leader and major leg if not face of the x-franchise, esp in this post-Okoye/Shuri/Nakia world.

honestly they should give storm her own line with the morlocks. then have her show up with her own gold squad for events. it would be stupid of marvel to shut out scott like fox did

I figure at worst they'll be co-leaders but Disney's not going to have the core MCU x-men be introduced as a buncha white folks led by a white folk and mentored by a white folk posing as a figurative MLK lol. Not in this climate. Out the gate i bet it'll be more 70s x-men/Spidey Homecoming than 60s/Fox movie ish, except Wolverine still gonna find his way on the team and Storm will be front and center even if that means leader. Cyke is cool and all but he's not getting butts in seats or getting ppl praising or buzzing for having a prominent role.

the only ones getting butts in seats are wolverine and deadpool. the xmen are popular as a collective not a single unit. cyke would probably bring in just as many seats as storm.

"Getting butts in seats" is in relation to Wolverine being on the team. Praise and buzz for having a prominent role is in relation to Storm.
