Y'all keep discounting women and girls who are starving for representation. I know 4 people have have seen this movie multiple times just because they love seeing a female superhero. I took my mentee last weekend (it was my 3rd time) and she's already talking about arranging to bringing her friends to see it this weekend. Multiple views from women and girls = big money. The hype on Tumblr is crazy...this fandom is exploding.

Of course, Fury has been with it for over a decade and he just died in the last film. If it was any other character, there'd still be significant interest in Nick Fury.

Both of what I stated was a fact. I haven't heard anyone outside of YouTube, tv, and social media say anything about this movie and the majority of ticket sales are from men... You implied I must not conversate with women because of that lol. If by women you mean little girls then yeah, you would be correct

Because I thought it was wierd that a superhero movie about to cross a billion didn't have more chatter like "hey, did you see Captain Marvel" around my job, friends, family etc like every other billion dollar superhero movie. Unless folks is seeing it and not saying nothing. That's why I said it must be super poppin overseas
