Yo, fukk all the noise. This was a really good movie. If anybody is hating on this movie and praising Aquaman, they're being dishonest.

I'll post a proper review later, but I went in with low expectations and came away pleasantly surprised.

Just went to one of the Opening Night Fan Event joints. Got the free popcorn my son and I didn’t eat nearly as much of, and the free coins. The little “intro” with Sam and Brie was brief and cool...thought they’d be no trailers but they only showed a couple quick ones (Frozen 2 and something else I can’t remember...).

Movie was dope, though. Worth seeing...not a comic book head so the “twist” didn’t faze me. The mid-credits scene was like, “Alright here we go!” The post-credits joint was like, “OK, that kinda makes sense.”

So that lets us know that since them man’s opinion has and can be this easily compromised.

It proves he has absolutely no integrity and people like him can and should no longer be trusted as unbiased critics after this movie, the next DC movie, Star Trek, Star Wars, Fast & Furious, Oscar Bait, horror and any other type of movie they do a review for.

They are burnt and best for them to find new careers. Time to go to his and others twitter page and end them

I thought it was good

I’d say the character development of Carol was the main element that kept the movie a float.

I wonder how comic fans will feel about certain choices made with the Kree and Skrull.

I get there is a high bar but there really is more than 2 pegs

Nah, aquaman>>>this...

Its not like I hated or didnt like this, it was just meh. Coming after BP, Avengers, and Aquaman this felt so underwhelming. It generally didnt keep me entertained throughout. Felt like a phase 1 movie, and not a great one. And the mid credit scene was just...ok...I do think this might be my fave

All that being said, I tend to like the characters i grew up reading or still read and she isnt one. Overall, i give this 3 out of 6 stones..

It started bland and somewhat bad up until after the chase scene.

Just caught the midnight premiere in the UK. Thought it was much better than advertised. There were some choices they made with continuity that I didn’t particularly like but it didn’t detract from me liking the movie overall. I’m sold on Brie as Captain Marvel. I agree that it does feel like a Phase 1 movie but I don’t think that’s a bad thing. 7/10 for me.

Yep... and phase one movie where pretty much the FIRST movie of their respective trilogies.

As long as she can keep pace their same trajectory then it’s gonna be ok

You don’t have to wait. They already doing it. But let them at this point.

Let them treat this movie accordingly to how they’ll feel comfortable for a movie they wanna stan to be treated

6.5 for me, having two director's showed with some scenes feeling slightly off, some of the dialogue in the first 30-40 minutes was bad.

Now on to Endgame.

I just got back from seeing it and really enjoyed it. Carol is MUCH more like-able in this movie than she is in the comics.
