Well every time someone says Iron Man 3 sucked or Age of Ultron sucked you point to box office and every time someone says they ain't interested in Captain Marvel you point to "watch how much it will make" so instead of having an actual conversation with the people you just throw your cape on for MCU

It's funny how they loved BP until it was the first comic book movie to be Oscar nominated, then it became overrated by a lot of those same people.

I don't know I read a couple Ms. Marvel arcs and I fukked with the comic. I didn't feel she was a Mary Sue so hopefully in the movie she will not be a Mary Sue

There has been a lot of Black Panther slander on this site lately and to me it coincides with somehow Trump being a "viable" politician for 2020.. over in other sections of the board. Why is this female lead marvel movie getting so much heat? Wonder Woman almost did a bill a only two years ago, Alita battle angel is doing better then expected, everyone is cool with a black widow movie, and majority of the GA is anticipating the female lead DC movie. So why is this happening?

It's pretty obvious why it's getting so much heat.

1. She shyt on white men....the vast majority of comic nerds and film critics are white men.

2. She isn't charismatic, at all. Watch any interview with any of the actresses whose movies you mentioned (Gal Gadot, Scar Jo, etc.) and then watch one from Brie LOOK AT HOW fukkING FEMINIST I AM Larson. It's like night and day. I mean....the post you quoted, with the quote from her, should be a big ass clue how she differs from them.

Then there is other, peripheral reasons like "she doesn't look like the character". Which is the same shyt Gal Gadot went through. But again, Gal Gadot has charisma to burn so that got smoothed over pretty quickly.

I honestly can't side with her, or her critics. She comes off like a fukking weirdo half the time and her detractors are white nerds making 30 minute Youtube videos about how much her movie is going to suck. So I'm gonna keep it simple....do I want to go see this? I don't know yet. If I got spare time I might, but I haven't been blown away so far.
