Nope.... from across the country over the years as early as about Phase 2 at Comicon type settings. In Q&A’s, in addition to back then when asked if they will ever do a Black Panther movie.

People asked about this and Dr. Strange too.

At the time, more people was asking about a CM movie than GOTG and Antman.

Ok, how about the announcement? Everyone cheered when Feige said it was getting made.
I like the X-Men movies for the most part but yeah they not putting it down like the MCU. Wolverine, Professor X, Magneto and Mystique can only carry a franchise so far and the timeline is all fukked up. Fantastic 4 is just weak.

I don’t know anything about that if I’m being upfront.... I don’t really buy or follow ANY comics heavily like that unless I’m watching a vid on YouTube from Comicextorian or Comics Explained or something.

I couldn’t tell you the best or worst sellers right now.

I may do the occasional graphic novel but actually buying comic books?

But anticipating? All I can say was the first time the idea of a CM movie was brought up years ago and that was early in the MCU process and Fiegie like normal always played coy like “we’ll see” or pivoted.

My final thoughts.

1. This movie hasn't even been marketed that much... yet it's getting unnecessary attention and has some how turned into another vs. social/political prop. It's a movie, not a piece of legislation.

2. Why do people think is movie is Marvel's answer to Wonder Woman This movie was announced before wonder woman. Furthermore, these are 2 different characters with 2 different story arcs and different powers.

Finally, the DCEU had it's shot to compete with Marvel and blew it. Now we have the XMen and Fantastic 4.

SO by the time the DCEU stages an offensive Silver Surfer will

she wasnt captain marvel in early mcu. she didnt take the name until the year before phase 2 was announced. and outside of preventing her failure, marvel didnt even know what to do with her at the time. i mean they still dont, but they are trying to give her the artificial wolverine treatment. before that, she was known as the chick that gave rogue her flight and strength and the chick that got.. well no need to go to that. so the anticipation is probably as artificial as the rest of her captain marvel everything

ive been seeing commercials for this since december. its been getting a stronger push that panther or the last two spider man movies did

because marvel wants a female icon akin to wonder woman, so they backed carol. its more obvious in comics, but its seeping in the movie spectrum as well

Untrue. Captain Marvel was introduced 2012 in the comics....no one outside the comic field knew about her.
