Captain America: Civil War projected to do $220 million

Ok, so we can all agree that superhero movies are recycled bullshyt.
Basically have the same basic story , only with slight changes

Fair enough I guess.....

There are like thousands of super heroes and villains. The norm of how they get they powers is limited though its either;

Technology
Born/Hereditary
Lab Incident
Alien substance/artifact
Magic
Radiation
Chemicals
Personal Tragedy
Death and Reincarnation

It is what it is breh, but I doubt that the movies are purposely copying the other movies like some are saying.........


Most movies are copy movies to a degree though..... The Hungers Games, Divergent, and Mazerunner are pretty much the same damn movies with slight variations.

Every horror movie
Every RomCom
Every Action flick;
1- The Buddy Cop films are always 2 cops that are best friends but dont know it or have petty fights get caught up in some crime, get in trouble with they boss and take it upon themselves to find the bad guy.
2- The war hero that been through hell and just wants to be left alone but a situation comes up that pulls them back in and they have to take on an army by themselves to protect the one person they care for who somewhere along the lines gets kidnapped and they have to retrieve them (this is is both the modern movies and time pieces)
3- The guy that works for a company, discovers a conspiracy or someone shows them the wrong in their ways, the company discovers this and tries to frame and kill said character. Said character goes under ground on the run with a female counterpart to figure out a way to clear his name while exposing the evil of the company and killing the main head. Oh and there is almost always this 2nd in command assassin type dude chasing the main character.

Every Torture Porn flick;
Kids travel and party, get abducted, several characters are slowly gruesomely killed by some creepy antagonist, the girls always crying, near the end a group of 3 always escape and its always a mixed group of either 2 guys 1 girl or 2 girls one guy, the 1st person gets caught and dies, the second always sacrifices himself somehow so the girl can live and she either is the final one to kill said antagonist or is the sole one to finally escape.

And so on and so on. So I wouldnt exactly use that as a knock on comicbook movies when we have millions of movies that for years been just recycling the same storylines for decades and not once do we get tired of that

I didnt watch the hunger games, divergent etc.... I know if you strip every thing down you basically get the same plot (but in some movies you get better dialogue, acting, cinematography etc) . Believe me, it's been a while since i saw a movie that blew me away.

But what bothers me about comic book movies, marvel in general is that these fanboys wont admit this shyt. They praise this marvel shyt and shyt on transformers, fantastic 4, bvs etc when they are all the same shyt. Every time they see a movie they come out of the cinema.."man you ain't never seen nothing like it" when in fact...
Some bad guy has a bad plan, the hero tries to stop him, the bad guy wins first fight, the hero wins the second one, the end

So it really shouldnt be a surprise or issue at this point as it equally goes both ways.

Recent prime example is... in BvS a solid movie in itself...... DC stans are doing the same shyt they get at Marvel stans about. Lex was clearly the worst character in the movie and the weakest and not only did they praise/defend him but then have the nerve to talk about Marvel villains.... going so far to even be like "bu bu bu bu bu but now this isnt the Lex we know this is Lex the 3rd, the other Lex probably just off in a small country... blah blah blah" bullshyt fan speculation

The main thing that should be worried about or atleast focused on is who brings the best "quips, jokes, agendas, and in some cases facts"

Oh and you mentioned the F4 which I'm assuming the reboot, are you really trynna pretend that didnt deserve the hate?

Even the most militant Marvel Fanboy himself would tell you that that shyt was no where near movies like BvS or MOS or etc.

Hell, F4 reboot makes the Transformers movies look like The Godfather.

Look on the scale of horrible Comic book movies..... theres F4 Reboot, Jonah Hex, Catwoman, Wanted, and Spiderman 3...... and hell Spiderman 3.

With F4 reboot.... I swear I havent seen a movie that bad since this movie and that was one of the worst piece of shyt films I've ever seen in my life, but F4 Reboot actually outdid that

Na man.... its entertainment.....

Grown men are out here living these hard fukked up lives in America, some are struggling to work jobs that really aint paying enough for what our lifestyle needs, probably struggling with school, family, bills, etc. Probably have loves ones close to us that are emotionally fukking us up with either their drama/trouble/sickness (cancers, etc).

This at best is just an outlet and band aid to temporarily take us from our personal hells and just breath for a minute and let off some stress when we are just exhausted from a days hardships

Some will persevere in they personal struggles, some want.... but these discussions on a board isnt sad.... its the reality of ones fukked up life thats sad. You never know, to the guy that is hardcore Stanning CV or BvS, this is probably the one thing thats keeping him from killing his dumb ass wife (and kids) that is cheating on him, putting him in all kinds of debt, but sadly neither can afford a divorce so they continue to live together unhappily and fight EVERYDAY in front of they're 2-3 young children all while working shytty jobs with long hours and fukked up bosses.

This is their one of their outlets when they cant get to a gym, have nothing to watch on tv, and just cant do other shyt cuz maybe they stuck out the house with lil jimmy and cant afford a nanny or daycare

On the topic of where to sit in movies. I dont think there are better seats than the aisle seats.

I'm kind of a tall dude at 6'5 and I hate sitting in the middle of "row seats... plus I dont like being sandwiched between folks and like how with the aisles I can extend my legs out.

The mid way up Aisle seats are always the best.... I dont even care about folks always passing by to get in
